T/M had such a clean skate too. I wish they both could have Gold.I'm sooooooo happy for them. Gold in their home county. Could it be any netter.
But it was Soo close. And I'm sorry for T/M. They lost by less than a point.

Nobody and I mean nobody better dare say they fell short or didn't live up to the moment.

All my faves (except Shoma lol) got silver here, but it's as good as gold with everything they went through for it!!!

what a great way to end the figure skating competitions! All of the performances in the last group were top notch.

This pairs competition was everything I could have hoped for. Who would be in the top 5 were pretty clear (barring major mistakes), but the 6th spot was up for grabs, and K/F got it! Then the amazing skates by T/M and S/H. Coming into this, I wanted M/G to get silver, but I am so happy with T/M's skate. They earned their silver. I want M/G to get gold next Olympics, but Russia is pumping out stellar pairs teams faster than I cheer for all of them. I hope this next Olympics cycle is as high quality as this one was.

guys, guys, guys, this is pairs, we don't wuzzrobb here, keep it in mind.
Well their coach and federation pretty much abandoned them. I hope after this is all over they go anywhere else cause Moskvina pretty much prioritized M/G over them the moment they arrived
FANTASTIC ending! Congrats to Sui and Cong. That free skate is so subtle but moving. I am equally thrilled for Tarasova and Morozov. What a display of maturity and purpose to movement. I'm sure Mishina and Galliamov are disappointed but the future is theirs. I think they got the rankings right albeit I think Peng and Jin got a home bump over Knierim and Frazier but still not outrageous.

Congrats to S/H! There's nothing left to say, just deserved. That's where they at.
But my real winners are Zhenya and Vovan. They've got so much stick over the past years and they've proven their worth now when it mattered. What a performance, what an achievement! Simply beautiful!
M/G did super well and, together with B/K, they'll have a wonderful future with loads of medals and titles ahead of them.
I'm a very, very happy camper today!!!!
