thanks @haribobo for compiling the scores... Of course, comparing score from these events is interesting but I am using caution when looking at them :

Cranberry Cup : were the Canadian athletes judged harshly? Perhaps?
BC August : very generous scores in some cases. Uliana got even a 9 in one of the PCS category from one judge, when she got a very low score (I believe a 3.5) from an earlier event... (next gen maybe??)
Regarding dance, Gauthier Thieren beat Hensen Lickers at CQÉ. The two other teams in the top 5 competed in the USA, and since these 4 teams are within points from one another, it will be quite a tough race. It does appear to me however, that Fabbri-Ayer are above that pack, with the kind of lead they managed over Gautier-Thieren as well as Hansen-Lickers at CQÉ.
Interesting to note as well that none of the top 4 teams in dance have skated yet. The top two pairs team have only competed their SP so far. Maddie as well. Roman is MIA.
We can say though, that the season is launched for real with the August Sectionals all being done.

The ACI entry page has been updated now, and the two skaters we already knew about (Stephen and Justine) have been added, but nobody else.

We'll see if they add anyone else, but for example Aleksa would have already been a good choice before this weekend, and he has not been added so far.
The entry deadline for Nebelhorn is at the end of this week, so we'll probably have the list a week from now - Roman often starts his season here, so he might keep that pattern going this season too, and we already know Laurin/Ethier have been assigned.

Technically, the entry deadline was August 11 (which is why we got the entry lists on the 15th) - But I guess rules can be bent? 🤔
To be honest, I have never seen any feds add skaters after the deadline for Challengers 🤷‍♀️
Skate Canada does its own thing ?? :) Interesting.

I really liked Fiona Bombardier last yeason... I have no idea at what point in her development she is, but has she competed already this season? Which events will she do?

She went to Cranberry cup, a US international event. Her first outing internationally as a senior. She debuted a new combo 3s-3t... it didn't work out, which is normal with new content. That left her, after the SP, ranked quite low. Her PCS were very low as well, which I thought was weird since she is a good skater (but there is no videos so hard to tell). So her total score wasn't super high. It's good she did get an event out of Canada, but she needs to be sent out to at least one more challenger. At least, she got her 4CC minimums.

Ava Kemp/Yohnatan Elizarov have withdrawn from JGP Istanbul, hopefully they are okay and will have another opportunity at a JGP. They just competed this weekend and looked fine in the Short, but withdrew from the Free.

Thanks to Skate Canada not naming any substitutes, that's another lost JGP pairs spot, despite there being teams to fill them.

Wow, I wouldn't have thought she'd get low PCS. Well, we will see... thanks for the info. 🙂
