I don't like that Mai is skating injured, but I love her skating and joy so much. She is just so lovable and effervescent on the ice. She was a lot more cautious here than in the short, and I suspect there will be several carrots given, but she fought through all the way. ❤️

Did Hana Yoshida skate to Planets last season? Mai put up a fight, but unfortunately most of her jumps are for review.

Oh dear. That was very cautious, somtimes quite tense and not perfectly clean either. Only after the jumps her sparkle came out a little. It will not help her much. 😐

Meanwhile some useless bit of trivia to lighten the mood: Korea has a large Christian population so Christmas is a national holiday, which made the buddhists go "Hey we exist too so why isn't the Buddha's birthday a national holiday as well", so Buddha's birthday is also a national holiday. Which is great for an agnostic like me :laugh:
