Off topic, but how long before Plushenko's kid can compete in novice? I actually feel sorry for him as the pressure will be crazy.

I get the impression that he has no desire to compete, and that is probably for the best. His talent is a bit...limited. He enjoys the shows I think, and Plushy seems fine with that. I'll never forget that someone asked Tarasova if he was going to be 'like his dad', and she pulled no punches, said, no, I don't see anything yet. lol. Tarasova is nothing if not honest.

no, the wine fest is over, now we're training for festive food marathon next month...in Italy Holydays are a big deal especially for our digestive system when we celebrate something we do through food, and not just any food, more than our fair share of food. the holydays food marathon starts December 24th and end January 6th (some have an early extra stage on December 8th)

Pairs is my favorite discipline (go figure) and the international field is just dismal without the Russians. Savchenko has reunited with Szolkowy to do shows, but the clips of her throw jumps show they could compete and win even with Robin being less than competition ready and that's just sad.

This is a stellar pair skating line up this weekend.
