2023-24 Russian Local Events – Discussion

This is why im so against putting the combo on the 2nd 4lz instead of the 1st thats very much unnecessary rep he could easily have avoided :bang:

That being said what a skate from Lev, he is so ready for the season!:cheer2::cheer:

I like Varvara a lot. Not the most stable jumps just yet but they are big. Looking forward to see if she stabilizes them this season because if she can honestly I think she will do really well in the Russian cup series.

Maya started us off strong. Im rather surprised she hasnt gone to a bigger coach yet after last season if im being honest.

OK this wasn't half bad from Alena K actually really good compared to what we have seen from her during last 2 seasons :cheer2::cheer:

The move to Butsaeva from Lyutikov helped a lot I wish she had made that move after 21-22 season instead but better late than never hopefully she continues to improve from here.

It looks like Arina will go for a 4T and 4S, she showcased a 3A during the summer I wonder if that ready to try here or no?

Well yeah idk, she took a hard fall on the 4T then landed her 4S but sadly made loads of other mistakes on her normal triples. No Lutz attempt either and her flip is still unstable. Training 3 difrent ultra c jumps when your skater doesn't have lutz nor does a 3-3 in the free and isnt that stable on the other triples either is actually crazy. I don't get what's the thought process here. Poor girl has loads of potential as well.

Varvara K has such tiny jumps, but she is rotating them from what I see. I wonder if her being much smaller than Sonya and Masha could help her make Davydovs jump technique work better.

Not her best skate today tho:console:
