Unfortunate stumble on the stsq and potential leg down on the combo aside she looks to be in great shape and ready to fight! This program really suits her, its kinda unfortunate its in the same season as Alena Ps black swan sp cause its going to get overshadowed by that.

Im really interested to see how Kalugina will do today, she didnt have 3lz last season but managed to go by with not attempting one but now she has to have one as its the mandatory jump. Im still so confused by the strategy of getting her 4S and 4T before having a 3lz

Arinas jumps are gigantic very nice when she lands them, unfortunately she fell on the lutz which was expected as its a new jump but what a big 3lz it was

She was but scored 5 points less than Lebedeva from CSKA.. interesting..

She did compete in Belarus, but she was just representing her (Russian) skating club. Kind of like some Belarusians skated at the Russian Cup stages last season.

Also how did Alena get away with only 1 deduction, did they not count the combo as a fall cause it definitely was a fall?
