The ExCom of the St. Petersburg Figure Skating Federation at the meeting held on September 25 summarized the results of the pre-season Control Skates of the St. Petersburg national team. In general, the athletes of the team showed a good level of readiness, especially sports pairs and men pleased. However, some women, performing under the Master of Sports program, showed a low level of readiness. Female athletes - members of the team, who showed a low level of readiness, it was decided not to allow them to participate in the All-Russian competitions and to instruct them to perform at the 2nd stage of the Cup of St. Petersburg. The Coaching Council was instructed to reassess their readiness based on the results of their performance at the 2nd stage of the St. Petersburg Cup. The Executive Committee of the Federation, in case of repeated demonstration of low level of readiness by these athletes, on the recommendation of the Coaching Council will consider the issue of their exclusion from the St. Petersburg team.
On October 19-20 within the framework of the 2nd stage of the St. Petersburg Cup by the decision of the Executive Committee there will be Control Rolls of candidates for the national team for participation in the Final of the IV Spartakiade of Students (Youth) of Russia. All candidates for participation in the IV Spartakiade of Students (Youth) of Russia in singles, pairs skating and ice dancing will be called to the Control Rolls.
The ExCom also approved changes to the Federation's Calendar Plan. In the sports season 2023/24 the Federation will not hold the series of children's competitions "Peter the Great Cup", instead of it two new competitions will be held: Qualifying competitions among boys and girls (9-12 years old) according to the special program and St. Petersburg Championship among boys and girls (6-8, 9-12 years old).
The first of the above competitions will be qualifiers for the regional competitions "Crystal Skate". They will be held in December, and the strongest athletes from schools, clubs and sections of St. Petersburg will be able to take part in them. The Executive Committee of the Federation approved the Regulations of the new competitions. The competitions will be held according to a special program, the competitors will perform not only short and free skating programs, but also compete in elements.

I heard in general that Kazakhstan doesnt like Russians representing them in sport.

What does this even mean; I guess thy weren't fine with the jump content? Or who is this about/who's affected?
As much as I enjoy watching the men, most of them certainly didn't look "ready" to me. High level, yes, but obviously not yet in the best shape - so this cannot really be about being "ready"?

I think we're referring to figure skaters whose names we don't know. None of the skaters from the St. Petersburg team that we know of were scolded after the test skating. Gushchina, Frolova, Zakharova and Fursova were especially singled out. A lot of positive things were said about them.
It seems that the St. Petersburg Federation wants to organize something like the second test skates for girls at the second stage of the St. Petersburg Cup.

This statement is true not only for Kazakhstan, to be honest
But Kazakhstan does give preference to local athletes. However, I see quite a few athletes with Russian surnames representing Kazakhstan (usually they are natives)
Maybe he was taking it easy. Evdokimov was great though, fair play.

After the short program Agata Petrova is second.2nd stage SPB Cup
I'll be very busy this morning. In case I can't watch it properly, shout-out to the Kolpino girls (past and present).
Ivan Ramzenkov lost 3 points to Roman Hamzin, having made a mistake on the steps sequence, and took the second place after SP. Dmitriy Shelkovnikovov is 6th, Nikolai Loginov is 14th.
Andrei Mozalev decided that it is necessary to go to the competitions every week and entered the senior men's category.

Im not sure why the 3F-3T was invalid I was confused about that but the 2lz-2A-2A was invalid due to the fact that in the 1st sport category you can only do 6 jump passes and that would be his 7th jump pass.
Oh thank you! I forgot that 1 sports only has six jumps.
I think it might be because 3F-3T is his last jump. So he's missing an A jump. So no points for 3F-3T either. it's such a pity. This is probably the coach's problem
