Wait he jumped 3A. So there's only one reason that 1 sports has to jump 2A? Anyway it makes me sad to see Dobromir upset on the podium. But this kind of problem can be avoided in the next match. Davai Dobromir!

I think they do have to do a 2a, I remember 2 seasons ago when Arseny was competing in the 1st category with a 3A he always had to add a 2A anyway, this was prior to 2A sequence jump value change so he did it as a solo jump. This is a coaching issue. why is he doing 7 jump layout in 1st sport anyway?

2nd stage SPB Cup
Mozalev shows the best skate of his SP for the season and gets 101.47 scores.
He seems to enjoy competing every week 😅
He says that psychologically every competition is easier, and the banya helps him to recover physiologically.

Fedor Zonov is 2nd with 90.28 scores, Arseniy Dimitriev is 3rd with 76.06 scores. Artur Danielyan is 6th with 69.15 scores.

Nice redemption skate for Artur - he needed that. Haven't seen any of the skates, but I'm happy with Fedor coming second overall. :)

Oh, Andrei! Is this really first relatively clean skate of two programs in four adult seasons? No pops, no falls. True, there is a < on 4T and a q on 4S, but we know how Andrei always is. It was an outstanding skating for him :cheer2:
Total 284.29 points for 2 programs, excellent.

The other guys didn't avoid harsh mistakes, a real shame for Fedor Zonov and Arseniy Dimitriev. In overall, however, not bad results for them.

1. Andrei Mozalev - 284,29
2. Fedor Zonov - 238,22
3. Artur Danielyan - 237,10
4. Arseniy Dimitriev - 224,97

Gorshkov Memorial

I couldn't watch the pairs yesterday and can't find replays. :( But I'm here now to see the first outing of Varya Medvedeva and Pavel Astakhov. Glad that he's back competing. Third after SP, I wish them all the best. :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Tashkent interclub competitions. This is not a local Russian competition, I don't really know what category to place it in, so..... Here in the Junior Men category are Ivan Ramzenkov, Ilya Neretin and Alexander Semkov. In the Junior Women category - Agata Petrova, Anastasia Marasanova, Sofia Glagolevskaya. In Advanced Novice Girls - Sofia PASHKO (Club of Tamara Moskvina St. Peterburg).
In Advanced Novice Girls 12 - Varvara KONDRATEVA, Alina KOROLEVA, Margarita RUCHINA (Star Ice St. Peterburg).
I suggest to follow the St. Petersburg troop!

Competition results:
1. Sofia Glagolevskaya almost managed to land 4 T's.
2. Anastasia Marasanova tried to perform a 3A in FS, but under-twisted this jump.
3. Ivan Ramzenkov successfully landed 4T, 4T+3T, 3A+2A, however he couldn't successfully land another 3A.
4. Roman Khamzin and Alexander Semkov were able to perform a 3A in the short program and two 3As in FS.
5. Russian juniors were on the same ice with juniors from other countries for the first time. This is very important for both sides.
6. In the future, Russian clubs can expose athletes from other countries who are practicing on their ice to such competitions. These sportsmen couldn't be invited to official RusFed competitions.

Commenting on this event, Lakernik said that another similar tournament will be held in Ankara in the near future. Probably this tournament is planned to be made a regular event.

I'm in doubt - where to post information about upcoming tournaments like this one? These are not internal Russian competitions, definitely international, but, as you realize, this is not an ISU sanctioned event. Is there a suitable forum? :scratch2:
