Moscow City Cup

I didn't watch anything (work is mega following restructuring), , but I've noticed surprise results for the Junior Boys SP: Klimentiy Tollchinskiy in the lead, followed by Ilya Malyshev (good on them both :)), but Vadim Voronov almost 9 (!) points behind Klimentiy in fifth, without any deductions!!!
That shouts for a redemption skate of the highest order. Something must be wrong, hope the lad's ok. 🤞🤞🤞

Vadim popped his 3A into a single, hopefully the free will go better for him 🤞

Bugger, just missed Nikita Sentsov's skate and he's in the lead so far.
However, hoping that everything goes according to plan for Vadim today. 🤞🤞🤞

I haven't got any sound....

Why they cannot fix the sound issue is beyond me. It's not that MainStream is a new and inexperienced kid on the block.

Yessss, much better! Vadim managed his 3A and showed a solid performance despite a fall. The Tech panel downgraded him, but he goes solid in first place. Is it enough for a podium place?

And of course, as soon as he is finished the sound comes on!

Vadim wins silver with a great comeback!!!:hap10:
But blimey, Klimentiy! I've never seen him this good. 👏👏👏 Love the programme and the costume. That obvious growth spurt didn't seem to have done him any harm.
Also congrats to Ilya and Grigoriy (who's looking quite athletic).

Just watched Pairs - Medvedeva/Astakhov! I liked what I saw, but it clearly needs a bit of work. Pavel's hand was bleeding, hopefully something that doesn't keep him from the FS.

Hey, they've gone above Simonova/Breslavskiy - wasn't expecting that. A happy skating day for me (hope that carries through to Kaunas...).:)

This entry list deserve all the time I was waiting for it. Although I was waiting mostly because of Kate.

What happened to Cheremnykh/Butenko again? Silent withdrawal from Junior Channel One Cup and then no competitions. :(

Curious to see Prokopets/Vaskovich's first competition in the new team. And Nikita's first competition after his injury.
