Anna Frolova is going from strength to strength. I wouldn’t want to be facing her in competition right now because she is the in form skater currently.

I would have said to look out for her as a potential top 5 contender at Nationals but I promised to stay out of the prediction game since I jinxed my dark horse pick last year. Haha

She is only 1 spot away from 5th after the SP.

Maybe my jinxing powers took the year off. Hopefully they don’t show up tomorrow.

Very good FS, but with imperfect winner (one fall) and bronze medalist (no ultra-c at all) and only silver medalist skating her maximum I can't name it "great". It was still nice, exciting watch!

Yea, girls didnt manage to peak fully. I think Spartakiad will be the season highlight.

But Mura jumping 1 unconfident 3A in FS and stumbling in SP is not her maximum, at all.

Muravieva for me is the big winner of the day.

She finally put it together from bell to bell, and her confidence now is sky high.

I think this will be a springboard to bigger and better things for her.

Not a surprise, since I said from the get go that Plushenko is a champion that knows how to win, so his school isn’t in it to fail.

Also, it looks like I got Frolova as top 5 correct. So my predictions are good every other year. Haha

I think it was her present maximum as she's been falling on these jumps this season, but yeah - I got caught in the moment in competition thread calling it 'skate of her life' which it certainly wasn't.
