At John Nicks I saw him practicing lifts on the ice by himself, which I don't remember seeing a pairs guy do in a warmup before. Like, hands up, carrying nothing. I'm sure there is a reason for it but it did make me wonder if they have issues with lifts.

that's not that rare, I've seen some men doing it, just going through the feet movements
