Less oxygen means it's harder to breathe. For those who don't train at that elevation it may be a challenge as they might get winded faster than normal due to the thinner air. The advantages would only be for those who are used to those conditions.I've heard that higher elevation makes your jumps easier to rotate because there's less oxygen (and that's why all of the Colorado skaters UR) so maybe there's some advantages there too.
