Well I think they are a getting a bit more comfortable, still some mistakes but evening out.
Imagine you are new to pairs AND have to do it at altitude.

The lifts are literally insane, and they look very fast on the ice (Question for those who have seen them in person, are they actually as fast as they look?)

They have been having problems with Ponomarenko which is so easy even I can do it. I mean it’s just as written.

yeah i get that but a wannabe is a pretty bad insult especially when missing the podium...

Didn't consider that aspect, anyway what does Chris Howarth have against Japanese names

They both seems to have very strong performance skills which is vital for pairs, and as a new team, that is definitely a good thing to have

Love how consistent Elie and Danny are on their side by side 3 sals. Hard to believe that she finds the double axel harder. I wonder when they're going to start including throw triples--they keep getting negative GOE on the doubles so they may as well rotate the triple and pick up more points. Danny did a great job on the lifts. Lots of things to like about this pair. I just hope they stay together.

I put an article on the front page where all these things are discussed. Mr O’Shea promised me an Olympic season let’s GOOOO

Alright she got through both jumps. I usually hold my breath during the loop.

Wish that Danny had a pair partner that was at an equal skill level. Ellie has a long way to go with her jumps and throws. But very nice lifts-Danny is just so rock solid as a base and Ellie has the balance and acrobatic skills there. I wonder if Deanna S-D ever considered Danny as a partner. Deanna is doing well now with Max and how much longer can this 39 year old go but have to wonder what Deanna and Danny might have accomplished.

not sure why the negative goe on the last lift... i didn't see the problem... low levels on DS and spin.... i guess they will keep the americans in front though they had barely any tech content other than the lifts.

I love this Canadian team .. strong skates, really good program outfits divine esp the dark blue/teal color of his ..

Clearly some PCS work to do, but very promising technically.

Ooof, they started very well, but it got a bit messy toward the end (levels!), I was really scared that the last lift would come down. He was breathing so heavily, he really made it through this program by sheer force of will.

Loucas and Ethier have lots of potential, but they definitely need to work on PCS and connecting to each other and the music.
I want much better styling for them both though.
I think some of their GOE’s were quite stingy though.
