Viktor now coaches at a rink 80 miles south of me; I have heard nothing but good things about him from skaters and even skating families. He was the one who went to the Olys with Alysa Liu when she was between coaches.

To this day I remember when one of his trouser straps came undone during a performance and to the cheering of the audience he managed to roll up his trouser leg very elegantly during a spin to fix the issue.

My TV screen is about 30 seconds behind the computer screen, I noticed when I had both on for a while. No wonder I sometimes lack what you are talking about. It means I am not SO slow, my screen is.

No, he used to train there with Priscilla Hill for the latter part of his career but he always competed for Austria. I guess he stayed in the US to become a coach because so much of his network in the figure skating community was there.
