I appreciate Daniel for representing the chaos of the men: gorgeous 3A and then a +STOMBO, followed by a level 2 spin

and all of this in a shirt with grass stains on it

17 Daniel MARTYNOV USA coached by Nikolai Morozov skates to Dawn of Faith by Eternal Eclipse, Thomas-Adam Habuda. Lofty 3A to start, followed by 3F-stumble-2T. Nice feature of spinning off heel in combo spin. Daniel has a very internal sense of style.

18 Tao MACRAE GBR skates to Concerto in E Minor for Violin and Orchestra perf. by Hilary Hahn, 16yo with bright blonde hair. Very stylish skater, not high content but done pretty well.

I'm a bit disappointed about Tao's music - with his yellow anime hair I was expecting a more fun or unique program. But at least I do like this particular violin concerto. Hope his FS is more fun!

He really looks like an anime character in a skating anime

But boy if you're going to have a yellow hair, find a shirt that works your hair color okay

Now this is more of what we need! I loved everything about that.

Apart from the bleached hair. We don't need that.

Watching him, I couldn't help but think of John Curry. And this from somebody that hasn't seen many of John's programmes. But it seemed like the sort of programme he would have done. And would have interpreted brilliantly.

I don't think I've seen Tao before, but I after that, I really like him.

And I am really looking forward to his Free! I love the overture from "Jesus Christ, Superstar"!

19 Seigo TAUCHI JPN - Rooting for him on behalf of @tsuyoboogie. Coached by Miki Ando.
Skating to Cloak & Dagger, Fate of the Clockmaker. Lots of wavy arms. Good patience on opening jump. A miss on the back end of the combo. Finally gets it clean on the 3rd jump pass. Step sequence is the best part of this skate.

@tsuyoboogie he didn't attempt the 3A, good on him! A fall on the combo though, but pretty good otherwise.
