There were some clear mistakes, and it wasn't their best skate, but they were much more secure than they had been in the short.

see this is where I miss Mark's commentary because he would explain that they're probably gassed from finding out about this event less than a week before, then competing, travelling, and competing again, but Chris is just like "oh that's a shame" and I don't even want to know what Johnny and Tara are saying

Don't worry. They didn't show the program or provide commentary on it at all.

Instead, they were replaying Ilia's 4A from last year.

For those struggling with Peacock, you might be able to get the ISU stream if you use a VPN. It's geoblocked here (UK) but I am watching using the Opera internet browser with its inbuilt VPN turned on and set to 'Europe'.

Yikes. So scary program for the Italians. I didn't want to watch the lifts after one aborted.

But it was a cute concept. I loved her CatWoman ears!

They were OK but not great. They leapfrogged mostly because the avoided disaster, unlike the pairs they surpassed (by a LOT).

Well, I didn't see their skate, but from the PBP that @figureskatingandrainbows posted earlier, I think it had more to do with the performances that came after, rather than their own performance.
