Deanna needs to start studying
The tweet was deleted. It was Deanna saying that her attorney had given her the heads up to start studying for her citizenship exam.cannot see it
Majorie Lajoie got that spooky feeling in early September, just a week after Skate Canadaās high-performance camp, when she learned an accidental collision in practice had left her with a second concussion. And all the bad symptoms sheād endured at the beginning of this year began to surface again.
āI have a feeling that we have a nice group of younger skaters in the women coming up ⦠over the next three or four years, youāre going to see a lot of depth coming out of there, which is good,ā said Slipchuk. āRight now, (for worlds qualifying scores), we have Maddie, Sara-Maude and Uliana. Kaiya is just a bit short on it. Weāve got two more that got the Four Continents, with Breken and Fee-Ann last week. Weāre getting more depth on that, too.ā
āMy citizenship attorney told me to start studying for the exam and theyāll contact me in three to four months to take it,ā she said. āSo Iām studying every day, because I have to pass on my first try. Otherwise, I get put back in the queue and then it could take months to take it again. So I have to pass it right away.ā
I know. They are my favourite dance team. Iām hoping for a breakthrough. Zachary is just my typeDeanna will ace that exam. So sad for Marjo.
Zachary is everyone's type I am afraid. I met him at worlds.... Even better in person.I know. They are my favourite dance team. Iām hoping for a breakthrough. Zachary is just my type

I know. I love that he is so talented with the piano. He is that athlete that doesnāt stop until he is at the top. I love that intensity. They were my favourite team at Worlds last year.Zachary is everyone's type I am afraid. I met him at worlds.... Even better in person.
Hehe I don't care for his piano playing. The rest is excellent though. I loved them at worlds too. I would have had piper and paul in first and lala in third.I know. While Barkell said there had been āsome issuesā in dealing with his back during the off-season, all is well for the moment and the decision was made to scale down his programs this week to protect his health (the short program will eventually have two quads. Gogolev has been landing quad loops in practice, and Barkell said either that or the quad toe will be added down the road in the combination. The long will be similarly watered down, with the plan to have three or four quads in it by seasonās end).
āItās been kind of on and off,ā Gogolev said of his back health. āWe took it very carefully leading up to this competition.ā
It was just announced that Roman has WD from the Free Skate due to injury.
Sounded to me like Chris was unsure of the reason Roman WD. Whatever it is, Roman really can't catch a break. It was just announced that Roman has WD from the Free Skate due to injury.
His SP was not good, but what a shame to not be able to attempt his FS. I hope he can recover from whatever as quickly as possible. Wishing him all the best as, when he's on, his skating is so enjoyable.
āWe just started the season earlier and competed more often, and sheās more comfortable,ā explained Lemaire. āAnd every time you go, itās not perfect but you come back and then the next oneās better than the last one. It just helps build confidence. Weāve competed four times already. That helps, especially if youāre a nervous competitor at all.ā

It was a somewhat painful weekend for Fabbri, who twisted an ankle last weekend at Skate America and had to grit out Sundayās performance. Sheās grateful for a break after three competitions in four weeks.
Hopefully they'll both be healthy for Talinn TrophyāHe [Roman] tweaked his back on Monday before getting here,ā Skate Canada high performance director Mike Slipchuk revealed Sunday after the competition was done. āItās nothing major long term, but he wasnāt able to rotate. Thatās why you saw the first three days, he didnāt jump here on practice. He did no jumps. He got treatment while he was here. The day of the short was the first day he jumped. It wasnāt 100 per cent but there was some discomfort.ā

It's Alberta and Manitoba next weekend. Ontario, Quebec, BC and Saskatchewan are the weekend after.Just wondering? Preparing myself for next weekendā¦.
Is next weekend only AB and MB Sectionals?
Also, is there a sectional competition for the Maritime provinces?
Iām going to focus more on our domestic competitions than the GP events, as I prefer cheering on our domestic skaters
