2024-25 Russian Grand Prix Final

Oh Sofia. Not enough. That fall on the Loop and the dodgy 3 combo with no double and the end of it was expensive mistakes.

Behind Frolova and probably Gushchina as well.

I literally cant believe what I just watched

I cant tell if Mura is just over it or what. Maybe she feels like the reserve spot doesnt mean anything anyways, Adeliia is made of iron she never gets injured.

It's actually fascinating how different Mura has been in the K&C recently. Best believe that she's still going to cry once the cameras are off her, but she's been doing a good job of no longer bursting into tears on camera.

1) I expected Muravieva behind Gushchina.
2) It looks like clear Petrosian/Gorbacheva. Though if they called Alina's UR, she would drop a place and it would be less obvious.

I can not watch live because the internet is so slow and i can only after once they uploaded the individual videos at night, saw Sofia's fall live but the video so slow so i gave up wtahcing live. BTW for the men i was glad to see Petr GUMENNIK on the podium and sad not to see Vladislav DIKIDZHI though. I would like to see them both in the international competitions.

I mean I would give the spot to Frolova.
Gorbachova too psychologically fragile and never really lands two 4S, plus will go through puberty at some point in the next 12 months. It was gutsy to lay it all on the line today. And 2nd is still a great result all things considered.

Hopefully they don't have to send Frolova I don't think she could medal they'd judge her really harshly. Mura had more upside with better skating skills and a potential 3A, but she has no consistency.

My hope is that some of the craziness in the world stops by next fall and skaters like Frolova get at least a season or two to shine on the international stage. Just for them. She was there before the ban, but she's really come into her own the past couple of years. Maybe that's enough for her, but I'd cry if she could win an international GP before she decides to retire.
