They were in Russian many years ago. Then 1TV started to use international notation, because they were transmitting/selling competitions to the world. And since they're banned by US/EU sanctions now, they switched back to Russian notation.No. I noticed that as well.
Maybe you should consider introducing several categories: "Most campy", "Most bland", "Most boring" etc.what for?![]()

My fave usually isI would be breathing like someone who is about to die.

SS is inflated but the rest seems fine to me. Wouldn't make a big difference.Ok, she is the deserved winner, but isn't the scoring a bit generous, considering the flaws?
Best PR is a little much too, methinks.SS is inflated but the rest seems fine to me. Wouldn't make a big difference.
9.15? I admit I am biased so maybe you're right. But the difficulty of her program I think makes the difference. The other girls wouldn't handle or even think of trying what she does. Its fundamentally on a different level of dance and expression. Adeliia's forte in PCS is performance IMO. If shes clean I would literally give her 10s in PR but again I am biased. Still 9.15 for that slightly dejected Adeliia seems consistent. Yametova was cleaner obviously but much simpler and IMO her generic music and theme doesnt help the PR either.Best PR is a little much too, methinks.

Yea you are right in general. Consistent scoring matters even in minuscule matters since it adds up and one placement can make a difference between qualification. Last year Khromykh stole a finals spot it was rather egregious. I have complained about Eteri girls getting bonuses a tonne last year BTW, I honestly cant remember ever saying overscoring "doesnt matter" other than this time. But the inflation really seems minor and the rest of her scorecard looks fine to me.This isn't specifically for you but i never liked the "wouldn't make a big difference". That sentence likes to make a comeback when someone complains about the scoring.
Yes it would. Skating knowing you can fall twice and still win is different than skating knowing that a pop can lose you the gold or another medal. The pressure isn't the same. Those extra points matter. And i think that's why some skaters are more consistent than others, because of that undeserved cushion. They start to make more mistakes when they are competing against someone whose potential score is very close to theirs.
Aww I was in bed because I got up early this morning for archery. I'll have to catch up!where's @anonymoose_au ? she'd love Masha's costume
