I fear it’s a bit deeper than that. She has always been a nervous skater but still skated cleanly.

Its not always "something" its always mental failure. This girl hasnt gone through the Eteri special forces training, her mental is that of a normal human still it doesnt work for pro sports like this.
Yes, I think she needs a sports psychologist. She missed the combo on warmup as well. The other issue is when she is so tightly wound, it is hard to enjoy her skate.

Mura is not skating shows.
Which she doesn't. She was completely calm, even looked very relieved two weeks ago (even with a suboptimal Free Skate).
It's not "always something". She has not made "excuses" for mistakes many times in the past (like for the fall in the step sequence at Nationals, or her 3A falls at one of the stages last season). Either way, I'm not sure how people are expecting skaters to consistently stay in top condition with chronic injuries and illnesses piling up over the years. Some skaters (like Anna often did) might be able to push through, but the majority can't and don't. Russian or otherwise.

Her axel is twice as good as the 2nd best here and she got +1 for it hahaha, the judges were brutal. You could give her less PCS but you'd have to bump everyone else down too.
Veronika butchered the StSq rhythm frankly you are insulting her actual skill by propping up today's performance she is usually on point but today her jumps were mediocre as well, her worst skate of the season easily. And she was less than a PCS off of Akateva.

I usually have to 1v9 on Mura's behalf against this Mura hating forum but nah 2 weeks ago she was crying in the interview too even after the clean SP and before the FS. The girl is for real struggling mentally right now not sure why.
Akatieva was clear best. Mainly 2's on her combo which is fair, 3's and 4's for a beautiful 2A. She and Vazhnova are the only one's in the top 5 who completed clean programs.
Yametova getting 9's from one judge I don't agree with. Yametova is at the level of Anismova (nothing wrong with that).

Honestly Anisimova got completely hosed in PCS
Also not sure how Muravieva got 2nd PCS when she gave up and dropped everything for full multiple seconds, lost energy after the fall for the rest of the skate totally straight faced it like she wanted to go to bed. This program usually deserves first PCS but today no way. All the PCS were kinda high today actually if we compare to earlier stages but relatively speaking today Akateva kind of got underscored if Muravieva is getting almost 35 for that hahaha.
I think it's a pressure thing for Muraviova. She has lost the 3A and she can see medals slipping away from her. When she had the 3A last year didn't take advantage of it. She should have won the Moscow GP but gave up gold and silver to Valieva who was going through all kinds of trauma at the time and Yametova.
I thought she was going to pack it in during the warm up. It's probably frustration they are high achievers and ultra ambitious, they survived the toughest skating system, but she sees the writing on the wall if she can't return the 3A. The pressure is ramping up it's one month from the Russian championships.

She didnt really "waste" last season she came 2nd at the only event that mattered and Petrosian is unbeatable.
I wouldnt say she lost the 3A yet but I am concerned for sure. Last year I wasnt concerned when everyone else was and she proved me right but this time its quite frightening. She likes to peak for late season but even still she only has a month to jump 3 3As. She needs to get it together for real.

I can't get VLC to work anymore on multiple PCs anyone else having trouble?
Anyway I'm using Rutube it works much better than the 1tv site which ends up stuttering unless I watch in 480p, and the VLC connection stutters for me anyway. Rutube works fine at maximum resolution.

She's probably contracted long term and will owe them money for all kinds of things if she decided to leave.
Even if you watch Lena in the juniors she's always wound up and on edge emotionally.

But why are his other skaters fine? Who is supposed to help her? Eteri would send this girl into the looney bin on day one she cant handle that camp. Smirnova? Doubt it'd be any different. AOP seems to be doing better than her. I think its a personal issue.
Multiple PCs? I'm using VLC + forum on one phone. Its brutal! I'll try Rutube though thanks for the advice, I didnt imagine it'd be any good.
