Always nice to see that Liza Medvedeva is still competing, I wonder if she can get a RGP spot this season if she keeps it together at the free.

Masha A has a really interesting sp this season and I love the way she is styled here:love:

She looks to be in optimal shape, I do think she can be a dark horse at nats this season with some of the favorites coming back from injuries.

I was cut off from GS for two days for some as yet unexplained technical glitch...:(
But of course I've watched pretty much all the action. I'll have to catch up on Kovalev and Rukhin, but I wonder what happened to Danya Samsonov, he looked completely out of sync after being in the lead after SP.

Attempted too difficult content?

Yeah, maybe. Although I thought he had worked on that a bit more... I'm sure he will now.
Kirill Sarnovskiy is even more of a mystery. Is that down to injury or just puberty woes? Poor lad...

I did hear that he retired from FS.

I don't know where it came from but it was discussed as a fact and not a rumour.

Probably he changed his mind but the break was too big so he needs time to restore everything?

How many disaster skates does Streltsova have to have before her coaches stop overloading her with ultra-c jumps she clearly can't handle

Unexpectedly great list at SPb Cup.

The best team in ID, the best team in pairs, multiple top women and men (on the SPb level).

Top skaters started taking part in smaller events more often.

I wonder what happened to Kadyrova/Mironov though...

Good question. I really feel sorry for Mironov, so much bad luck for so much talent.

Talking about bad luck: Dobromir is not really kicking off yet. I've watched his performance in Izhevsk - he always comes this close and then he can't hold on to it as he used to. But hey, don't want him to be under too much pressure, he's only 12 after all. :console:

Their skills can be never in doubt, but I'm really sorry, M/G's SP doesn't do it for me - at least not yet. Maybe it'll grow on me. Thinking of B/K's Kill Bill... I know what I choose so far.
