I did hear that he retired from FS.

I don't know where it came from but it was discussed as a fact and not a rumour.

Probably he changed his mind but the break was too big so he needs time to restore everything?
Not my fave Kirill S! Glad to hear he's not retiring after all! Though I suppose he didn't do well at whatever competition this is (😅 I'm totally out of the loop here!)

I'll always rate Dima highly, but I must admit, so far I liked Artur's programme the most.

Dunno what happened to Semion at 1st SPb Cup. Didn't look like himself. Probably skates issues or something. And he didn't compete at Panin Memorial.

Great job today. Two different quads for the first time. Some improvements in spins/steps/choreo.

Wow, very good score. He would be first if not the shaky landing on the 4T. I didn't expect him getting such scores but I'm glad.

Poor Matvey, the jumps were not on his side today. He's got so much style!

Sorry, Dima, too much spoken word in the programme. But nevertheless, congrats to the silver medal.

SPb Cup thoughts

Very sad that Mironova/Ustenko WD, I wanted to see their FD scores. Anyway, they have time to recover by their stage.

M/G are not in top shape as they should be in October. They fixed their twist level problem after Panin Memorial.

Top women (Gushchina, Fursova, Kshetskaya) are finally in shape and look strong enough to qualify for Nationals. Elizaveta Kiseleva is a honorable mention too.
I wonder what's happening to Sviridenko since the second half of last season. I hope she recovers later. I like her Dune interpretation.

Polyanskiy has proven that he can lands things too. The 4Lz was perfect. He may be a surprise qualifier for nationals. Ternovskiy is in this category, too.
Soloviov is gaining in shape and continue to improve.
Artur isn't in his prime but definitely better than last season.
Aliev, I don't know why he competed here. I thought he misses the stages to heal his knee. But he decided to do a full season. I hope he'll be OK.
I don't see much changes for Vetlugin after the coaching change but he's post-injury. Of the good, his triples look better and he doesn't seem to have total meltdowns anymore.
Gumennik is trying to improve his layout like other men. The FS was great. Some rotations are questionable though.
