2024 CS Nebelhorn Trophy Men's Short Program

Announcer said Junhwan with the right j sound when he was introduced, and now it's the /j/. Why.

yes, that's what I meant :)- I didn't know the awards had been decided - where are the results????

here you go

here you go
wonderful! thank you!

A weak beginning, poor music choice, repetition of choreo we’ve seen before, but even with all that, Junhwan is glorious as always, a joy to watch
I've been contemplating my feelings on the program itself, and I think it's a very fine readymade. Maybe it's just my darling and his brilliance coming through but the choreo I saw was enjoyable and had eye-catching moments, yet I didn't feel like it perfectly suits him, at least not yet. Music aside (the cut is decent thankfully) the choreo is, as you said, nothing new, but it is carefully constructed to the right beats and accents. He will put his magic on it as the season goes on (don't tell me otherwise) and maybe the program will be tweaked here and there, but I can't help but wish that he got a program perfectly tailored to him. SLB can do it, she has done it with The Fire Within, Fate of the Clockmaker, MJ, Bond, and to a certain extent Masquerade Waltz. Wish she could've done it once again, maybe she has with his Loco tango, we'll soon see. Nonetheless darling mine please please let's get a banger like Fate of the Clockmaker for the Olympic season please

Just got back home, what are the most important moments I need to watch on the VOD later (if there's one ?)

EDIT : Just opened the stream

Same beautiful, elegant and skilled skater. Same broken weird looking jumps.

I think it is time we just accept it like it is, just look away when the poor girl is about to hit her forehead to the ice and enjoy the spins and performance skills that are getting better and better

I am sorry, I think since you are referring to "girls", you may have meant to post this in another thread?

I apologize if I am wrong.

Considering it's early season and the cactus discipline, this SP went about just as well as I expected. Which is not so well.
While watching, my impression was that this was a terrible event in comparison to Lombardia last week.

But with the exception of Malinin, Kagiyama, and Sota... who scored in the 98-107 range last week... the events stacked up fairly closely, at least in terms of scoring.

We already knew that Lombardia had more firepower at the top end of the entries, so really this wasn't as bad as I thought.

I love Lev Vinokur. In a motherly way of course. Not for Jimmy to get jealous.

I hope no one is going to die today! I've noticed the same sound issue watching the Jr. GP - it is almost like rink background music just randomly playing. Although, some skaters music comes through better than others.:scratch2:
Ted and Mark explained that earlier in the GP season. They aren't picking it up and cleaning it due to the music rights mess. It's coming from the rink speakers.
