Aside from the pop (apparently we should rename this event to the Popcorn Trophy) and the Shoma-esque 3A save, this was a great skate from Sota. I love the program, it's grown a lot since he debuted it during the summer.

So... this is a program of two halves, the jumping part (before the music change) and the skating part (after the music change). Sota has an advantage with his lovely lines and smooth skating, but (sigh) the first half is very much jump focused...
