I was a Nissan girl (they are made near here, so it is easy to get cheap second hand ones) but have had a VW for the past few years and have no plans to change cars any time soon.

Wow way to go KMS - into first with over 60 points. Very good for her 1st international. So far our ladies that have not been sent out much have being showing up and giving good skates and results.

I like that they seize their opportunities. They know that Kaiya and Maddie are not locks for the Canadian podium or ISU championships.

I walk everywhere... except if it's over 90 minutes or if the weather is extreme like plus 35C or minus 30 C, then it's 30-45 minutes max Then I will take the subway. I know.. I am crazy... I just love walking.

On current form, I don't think Kaiya will even make the podium at Nationals. Maddie could win by a mile, and could also really under-perform. Uliana, Sara-Maude, Fee-Ann and Katherine Medland-Spence are all capable of beating Maddie if they have good skates and she has poor ones. Breken could be in the mix as well if she can re-find her early season form. I wouldn't be surprised to see Uliana take the title because she is the most reliable technically and her new free programme suits her better than the Tango did.

OK, I am confused.

A few years ago, one of the German members told me that Nargiz SUELEYMANOVA's family was from Uzbekistan. So, how come she has switched to Azerbaijan rather than there. Has she family there too? Was I given duff information?
