Adam's SP music seems to be creating the strangest reactions in some, while missing the meaning, origin, and to whom it actually means something: The French.
S.O.S d'un terrien en détresse, the original song, was written for and sung by Daniel Balavoine who sang it only once on television one month before his death in 1986. Balavoine’s tragic death on January 14th, 1986 marked French people because he was flying in a helicopter over the Sahel region during his humanitarian mission aiming to build water wells in Mali.
Gregory Lemarchal, who covered the song in Adam's SP, died at age 23 (Adam's current age) while waiting for a lung transplant.
I am not sad listening to it, I am moved by the vocal belonging to the late Gregory Lemarchal and am pleased to see a French team chose to use it. If anything, listening to it reminds me to not waste precious time since dying can happen to anyone. At any time. There is no guarantee we will be here tomorrow or even next week.
Glad to see Adam is looking better on his road to what I hope is a full recovery. Knowing what Yuzu went through with torn ligaments in his ankle and repeatedly injuring it leads me to say I hope that doesn't happen to Adam as time marches on. Much improvement from his SP performance at GPDF.
Shun did well, good running edges out of his jumps. Best of luck to both men in the Free.
