Nothing more and nothing less than what I expected from Lewton Brain. But it was already a success for an ''adopted Monegasque'' to reach the FS. He has some lovely qualities in his skating like his elegant carriage and flow but tech elements are lacking. He bravely went for a 3A but it will get downgraded. There was a real Monegasque princess in some Junior Grand Prix a couple years ago, but she had a few elements even in the SP marked as invalid so far off from her competitors.

I don't remember seeing Armenian guy (the name is not difficult to pronounce for a Finn but it is difficult to type) before but a pleasant surprise skating this early. I have a feeling we will hear about him in the future. Quite flexible being a man (or a boy) too.

There was a quad but also a wonky spin at the end and a singled axel in one sequence but overall a decent skate for Chitipakhovian. I'm watching the Armenian skater for the first time. I missed the SP.

Some possible q calls too, but likely not multiple ones so the TES should be alright.

I appreciate the ambition of the layout, but that was very hard for me to watch and I almost gave up half-way through. Slow skating to that sort of monotonous wailing is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Good job Ivan and I am glad I am alone just now, I can cry. Did he have worlds TES before? Now he has.

I am crying too. He is telling the stories of and for others who cannot. They are real and visceral and unique and it is important for us to witness them and feel disturbed.

The german commentator is so different to Chris... he said: That was no figure skating but figure jumping and what he did the last 4 minutes was absolutely meaningless.. that was more than junior level what we saw in aesthetics...

Hm, but he's from St Petersburg and has likely already skated many hours, so I'm not sure we can expect the same upwards trajectory from him at this age as I would expect if he had grown up in Armenia.
