The suspenders, the haircut, Misao at the boards - I'm getting baby Yuma flashbacks. Taiga is so fast across the ice, and does such a good job of performing throughout the program. I loved the increase of speed on his camel - that was really well done for a junior skater - and how fast his spins are.

Okay, one look at this kiddie and I decided he's adorable. On the other hand, my mum always sang it as
"Smile though your teeth are aching.
Smile even though they're breaking...."

Which is going through my head and not helping at all (and it's Bublé which is even less helpful)

Me whenever Taiga is onscreen: "a child..."

Me whenever Taiga is actually skating: "child is FAST WHAT??"

This, to me, is a great example of how to choreograph a junior program that is complex and well thought-out but also age-appropriate and suitable for the skater. Great program construction! But also like...possible for him to perform to its full potential, and I feel like I don't see programs like that very often.

TAIGA bb!!!! Our mighty little tiger cub

Great skate! Looove how he lipsynch to the song, he's so cute he makes me like this chaplin program

A rough skate, poor kid - at least he didn't let the program go at all.

I’ll be joining you guys in watching soon, thanks so much for the play by plays!

Takumi is so good, JSF please give him at least one international assignment so the rest of the world can see how great he is. His flexibility and some of the positions he can hit are just *chef's kiss*. I love this crazy program mashup and his rippon arms and his wonderful posture and his side bielmann and his drama in the step sequence.

he's getting a standing ovation... my heart
