it makes sense... and let's add to this that with the musical chairs we see in dance and pairs at the lower levels, who knows what the future will look like for ANY of these teams...Just to add unnecessary comments to the discourse: I recently have decided that age doesn't necessarily reflect talent 1:1, experience is an important asset and of course more of it will bring finesse and polish, but finesse and polish are sometimes innate to certain skaters never mind their ages. Experience is just one element that makes a skater great, so being older and with more experience doesn't automatically make them more likely to win. Winning at a young age is still an impressive thing, don't get me wrong, but it's only one aspect of a skater/skaters that makes them good imo.
