Agree totally. I really didn't think the normal Jason intensity was there, and then there were the jump issues.I know he won't because of reputation, but he should drop below Frangipani and Rakic.

It's arithmetic. They gave him a 10-point advantage in PCS, but it still wasn't enough. They tried!Okay. I did the judges a disservice when I said he'd go into first on reputation. That was a fair score for the skate he did.

i'll try my best. you do the same for Sota@elektra blue Dear Ferdi please let my darling land his quad toe so that I may finally rest in peace
I think a bit nervous about the readiness of his content and lack of actual competition.Jason has a ways to go to return to form, so let's give him some time and see what happens. My guess is he was well aware of where he was before the start of the competition as there seemed to be an unsettled look about him-maybe I'm projecting?
I respectfully disagree. Those other skaters could get a higher season's best than Jason. They could beat him at nationals. Guess, what ? They don't do those things. He's not taking anything from anyone else. They aren't earning the spots. Sorry, but I really hate this type of argument. You earn your spots, you don't rely on others to retire and give them to you. He was 5th at last year's World Championships. Should everyone who finished lower than 5th retire in your opinion?that's what happened.
You're spot on about reputation. Even Chris was making comments about how great Jason is. I'm not trying to take anything from Jason. I love watching him skate, his artistry and presentation are always winners.
However, at this point, he's taking up spots in competitions that could be going to other American men who are ready to make a name for themselves, and can't because Jason is going, based on his reputation.
I’m no fan of Brown, but I definitely disagree with this. If the other US men want international opportunities, then they need to step up. The door is open and no one has been walking through it.that's what happened.
