2025-26 Retirements, Splits and New Partnerships

Rebecca Ghilardi confirmed her retirement. Not really news, it was aleady announced at the olympics (or even before) but now it's official.
Not clear if Filippo Ambrosini wants to continue.
Edit 1: I read somewhere he's ritiring too.
Edit 2: Apparently Filippo intends to continue, according to Jackie's Wong post.

She had already stated it at the OG, but I still feel sad. I liked them even if their jumps and throws weren't the best, and Rebecca had a slight wrap-leg-thingy during the SBS jumps. They were a lot of fun however because they were so good in playing characters. Very enjoyable. They will be missed too.

I had the wrong impression that both wanted to stop after the Olympics. Filippo especially is over 30 and has had his share of injuries.
In her interview, Rebecca states that the mental aspect was more taxing than the physical one.
Anyway, glad that Rebecca is happy with her career and best of luck to them both!
I wonder if Filippo has already a potential partner in the wings . He's a very good lifter, that's for sure

Yes, i´m waiting. Some of this splits probably end up pairing. I assume someone is even already training but it´s just not announced yet.

Is Filippo Clerici still looking for a partner or has he moved on from competitive skating? He's 25.
