Ohh i recently moved to Belgium i can no longer have access to Channel 1 sport , when i was in France, I can. I think the Belgiums ban all Russian channels? At least France is sometimes much more flexible than others. Sad!

I thought you were Chinese for some reason, lol. Most Europeans report positively about using Netherlands VPN. I prefer VLC to the website streams anyways—if you don't know how to access it let me know and I can show you.

Junior girls in Peterburg should start in two hours so maybe till that time they will solve that.

Girls jumping part of elements is over. Korcha will be first with 4S and 4S+3T, then Zaikina with 4T and 4T+3T, then probably Sarnovskaya with 3A and 3A+3T, then there are several girls with at least one quad, Dokukina did 3Lz and 4T+3T, Chistyakova 4S and 3Lz+3T. Now there will be steps and spins.

Fall during steps. But otherwise not bad for the first performance. Judges are giving her ridiculously low GoE.

Ekaterina Stotskaya — about her first competition after a break: What are your feelings about the performance? I'm not very satisfied, because I didn't have time to fully rehearse the program. It's still raw, empty, and I need to add a lot of details. I could still add something interesting to it.

First tournament after the injury? I didn't skate for three months from August due to surgery on both knees. I walked in a cast, used a wheelchair, and now I'm recovering.

My muscles atrophied, so I'm trying to work out and strengthen my legs. It's still hard to skate right now.

I returned to the ice on November 6. At first, I skated the program without jumps for a month. For the first two weeks, I just glided and couldn't exert myself. Then I skated without jumps for a month and started adding Lutz jumps. In general, my knees don't bother me, but they do when I sit in a spin.

Kosty: Jumps relatively fine (although 3A+3T was very forced), rest was so-so, although she received mostly level 4 except last spin I think the overal performance was weak.

Edit: They changed layback to 4 but decreased steps to 3.

Just watched Korchazhnikova's replay. She will single-handedly give me reason to maintain excitement for this growing generation in Russia.

Girls free skates are starting in Moscow.. Unfortunately I won't be able to watch the best, probably (I have dental hygiene visit this forenoon).

Back right for Korcha!!! Great 3 quads, but as if she was thinking I do quads so triples are piece a cake, which fired back at her in first combo 4S+3T when 3T was downgraded, then she took care for it. But she is the easy winner.

Can't see if they're all wearing skates or not, but Zaikina has grown a lot if she's basically the same height as Korcha and Sonya. I'll watch the top 6 skaters later, but I'm glad her coaches have finally started using their brains and scaling back her fp content to jumps she can actually execute cleanly. Also nice to see that Sonya's 3A seems to be becoming stable

Well, I've watched the top 6 girls and here are my thoughts

Korcha's quads still don't inspire any confidence in me, in fact, I think her jumps in general are quite ugly despite the height (and I don't trust the jumps of any skater who has to rippon every single one of them), but she is an artistic girl. I hope she'll be given programs that show off said artistry.

Zaikina's costume is gorgeous, but gosh, she really just skates around with no effort at actually performing until she's done with the jumps. I know people have said similar complaints about Lena's free programs, but that's a result of the choreo. Zaikina is just like that in general.

I wasn't a fan of Sonya's fp from the start, and I'm still meh about it, but well, it's more interesting than what they gave Lena...Other than the little slip, she did great here, and I'm happy to see her 3A becoming stable. Perhaps next season they can work on including one of the quads.

I don't have any faith in Dokukina having consistent, stable quads. Her jumps are way too cautious despite good height. Actually, her skating in general just feels so tentative and lacking in confidence. Anyway, I don't understand this song mashup...Beautiful dress, though.

Chistyakova wasn't as good here as at the Moscow Cup Final, but imo, she still gave the best performance, and it's nice to see a small, unknown coach with a successful student.

Stadnychuk has very iffy jumps, and her performance ability is kind of lacking for a Snow Leopards girl, but the program is fun and she's got lots of potential.

And I just watched Sonya V's sp. She was brilliant, but I can't remember, are the younger age girls not allowed to do 3+3 combos? Her layout here is different than it was at Moscow Cup Final, and it didn't seem like she popped the combo.
