Wow that's crazy .... They really try so hard to prevent athletes from taking part to Olympics (I know they impose the same very strict and even stupid rules in other sports as well)

To my understanding they may choose two competitions where they will be aiming for the points, and have to achieve the 173.89 in one of them. As far as I know, they hadn't chosen Nebelhorn or Kinoshita group because they were too early in the season. It is going up: at Kinoshito they had already gotten good component scores (according to Michel in an article), at Nebelhorn they already achieved a good score for the SP, just not yet on the FS. So they'll probably choose NHK Trophy and Trialeti trophy.

Fed puts them pressure by choosing only 2 competitions where they can validate that score, so instead of having 4 or 5 occasions to do so, they have all the pressure on each of these 2 occasions so that they can fail easier. It really does look like that. Personally, I think it's ridiculous altogether. They earned that spot at 2025 Worlds!

I really enjoyed the Cloak and Dagger program, besides the fall of course the Swiss team and their twists are amazing to watch, I think they're going to go far.
Fun fact about Hocke/Kunkel and their costumes...I knew they looked familiar and I was right...they were wearing B/G's Golden Hour gala costumes

I think it might one of the best short programs this season. It is so intense, intriguing, keeps your attention from start to finish, love the costumes too! The jumps worry me though...
