He was invited for galas at EC every year since 2017, even when he got worse results. Each of his gala performances were great. I understand that a schedule is thight etc. but I'm really disappointed.

Deniss is the grandfather of this event. His 9th appearance. Only Valtter has been to 10. Respect your elders.

I just want to stress that the audience loves him, that Tallinn is close to Latvia and that he had a superlative Free Skate and knows how to entertain in a Gala.

I don't watch galas most of the times, and selection of skaters has to do with it .. Davis and smolkin? Leaving the Finns and the Lithuanians out when in Estonia is weird... If the reasoning is that some teams have more fun programs, what is Nika doing there? Is he that fun to watch in a gala?

I didn't watch the Euros gala, but if Nika did the Deadpool gala that he's been doing in the GP season, then yes, he has an entertaining gala program.

Wth. No Deniss???? No Finns, but the nepo baby and Egadze? I don't care if he does a Deadpool program, it was annoying enough to have Morisi and this Aladin program for what felt like three seasons running at every gala.

Come on, they can't seriously not invite Deniss.

Ok, I'll pass on the gala and go to the icerink myself to try to cosplay some of the falls I saw last 4 days. No, I don't georgian chipmunks find amusing and don't get why the got the invitation.

The 4th place finisher is usually invited so Egadze understandable from that perspective. Then it's odd if T/V are not invited and if they were and not able to do it for whatever reason; the obvious alternative is surely their team mates who are entertaining.

I tend to watch galas on catch-up so I can skip anything I am not interested in. This will be no different.

Davis & Smolkin are fun?

I found somewhere information that their gala is so funny, that all Georgians galas are so funny that they all got invitations. That's not my opinion. Personally I can't find anything funny in skaters who can barely move on the ice because of their costumes. But it's just me. There are people who don't feel second hand ambarassement watching this. Personally I would rather watch Gleb solo gliding...

We finish the European Championships now with the lesser spotted Gala.

I am currently catching up on the Pairs FS (I'm in Group 3 at the moment). So, I won't be watching the Gala LIVE, as it will give away the results.

I tend to watch galas on catch-up so I can skip anything I am not interested in. This will be no different.

i am aware about top 4... sometimes, we see even all top five... but then, here, it's clear they skipped the Finns who were 4th... while Nika was in... and Davis Smolkin too.

It is still odd. I would have loved to see the Finns (whichever couple as they both are nice to watch). And why no Dennis who has excellent gala programmes, not filled with silly humour?
