Mia had a heavy splat on triple flip but otherwise strong enough to be pretty high right now I think

Ignoring what happened with the flip, that was a good skate from Mia. Dark green dress and gold detailing? I love it immediately. Off to a good start with the 3Lz-2T, but a crunching fall on the 3F - my coccyx hurt watching it. Step sequence is a delight. She's a very quick spinner too.

3Lz q + 3T<? for Janna. I loved though the step sequence and the ending of the program.

Janna's dress is such a lovely colour. A neat spread eagle into 2A. She's dynamic in the step sequence - uses her upper body and arms well, and engages the judges with eye contact as well. Bi-directional spin! She qualifies for the free, even if she's disappointed after the fall on the combination.
