Just seeing the wee girls there reminded me of the last time Europeans were held in Tallinn. And they showed this wee girl in the audience with a sign supporting Arlet Levandi either before or after his programme (I can't remember).

I didn't know it at the time, but I would go on to adopt her. And she would have my favourite programme of last season.

That was one of Konga's better skates.

Anastasija looks satisfied with that skate as she comes off the ice. Gorgeous dress, love the cut, the colour, the golden details. A solid and comfortable-looking 3Lz-2T to open, 3Lo a little dodgy on the landing, and a fight to get the free leg back in time on the 2A landing. A lot of attention paid to arm movements in the step sequence - she was always doing something interesting with them. The ending of her sit spin, with the hand down and the leg out, was unique.
