What an incredible skate from Niina! I really love this program, and she seemed just so on her game tonight!

I loved watching this skate from Kurakova. I began smiling in the middle of it.

And needless to say this was miles better than the SP at last year's Europeans.

I thought the score was quite low for what I've just watched.

What a skate from Niina! Confident, determined, everything looking polished. Lovely 2A followed by a falling leaf, and huge GOE on the flip, well over a point. She has a good elevated leg in attitude in the Ch Combo Spin. Love the fist pump of jubilation at the end.

Prepare for a pandemonium when Niina finishes her program - one of the Estonian fans has a drum and was already directing the applause for her when she was warming up during the replays.

Update: in the arena the applause was so loud you couldn’t hear ben hear that drum in the noise.
