I preferred when they had the skaters in a line the middle of the ice and bowing to the audience when they were introduced.

But, it is definitely better having some sort of presenting of the skaters rather than just sending them straight out.

Actually, you've given me an idea. Maybe we should hold a poll to see what is the most popular way of introducing the skaters.

I don't care either way, but they have to try new things sometimes. I mean, I liked the old way but it was a bit awkward when the different levels of welcome were blatant and the less welcomed had to just stand there like lumps.

What a shame - It started so well! I felt like he had better speed and power than I have seen from him in the past. He does have lots of nice qualities, but I find myself struggling to connect to him.
