2025 Four Continents Pairs Free Skate

After a rather rocky start, Anastasia and Hektor really found their beautiful skating place and skated the heck out of that program. Embraced the music and the story ... and the way they looked at each other was just mmmmmwwah. Some very gorgeous elements.

The skate went well minus sbs jumps

Good skate overall from E/M. Following the Chinese choreography trick of putting the SBSs at the start in the hopes the judges will forget them by it comes time to assign the PCSs. Though they did do the twist first.

I'm on the top left corner, it's not the worst seat but I'm still bitter that the organizers did not sell the 1st floor seats on the judges' side. I have to stare at the skaters' sides as they skate...

Well for Alisa and Misha it wasn't the exultant, gorgeous skate as at Nationals, but that could work to their benefit and they'll do better at worlds. They are a beautiful team and have that something extra!

When you're nervous and get tight, old habits die hard. Honestly, not that bad of a score for E/M given the major SBS jump errors and some very tentative lifts. Great throws. And given that they have the ability to do better, they should be encouraged to still get their total SB.

Sbs jumps could've gone better (esp. sals, they were very not in sync) and the throw loop was iffy but otherwise stellar

Well... i adore Max and Deanna but I didn't expect them to skate that well after yesterday or Nationals... WOW !!!!
