Is the ISU You Tube livestream not available in Canada? I'll have to watch pretty much everything on video (after the fact) because to the 13-hour time difference. Does anyone know if CBC puts the videos of the events up for viewing after they've finished livestreaming? Sure hope so.
They usually post them for awhile afterwards. The videos stay in the main section for a week or so. After that, below the current news stories on CBC Sports, click on Videos and then hunt through the list. I keep a permanent bookmark for cbc.ca/sports/olympics/winter/figure-skating. It cuts down the amount of other sports news to wade through.

I think the Youtube livestream will be available, the CBC streams are another way to watch. It could be handy in case any of the Youtube streams are taken down.

The ISU Youtube tiles are up!! Checked just now and they are all there. YAY!!

Since I am in Japan at the moment, I will be watching this on Fuji TV, with one big caveat.

According to Fuji TV's website, the skating will be aired live only on FOD Premium! It does have some tape-delayed over-the-air coverage, but it will be broadcasted during late-night hours (about 1am-3am)! Seriously, late-night hours for a competition in the same time zone?!? :angry2: There might be sports bars or izakayas open that late, but still...

Where am I watching, with "watching" being the operative word. It's from CBC on my laptop and I not only can't hear a note of the music, I'm only getting the occasional word of commentary. Either it's the feed, my computer, or my hearing. Whatever, it *looks* good so far, after the first group, but a pity there are so few spectators in the seats.

Not so much where as when - I checked the times for all four opening events and they are on at a great time for me... if I wasn't otherwise committed to something else for most! Missed the pairs, now will get some of the RD...

I'm on the SBS stream, which seems to have a single stream for all the segments today rather than a stream for each segment. I'm very pleasantly surprised there's no ads!

LOL at Chris just now, we're in between segment and suddenly we can hear Chris soundchecking "1 2, 1 2, 1234" :laugh4:
Also I swear a guy was talking Korean to him yet he replied straightaway in English, I wonder if he somewhat understands Korean? 😅
