2025 Russian Senior Test Skates

I suppose Akateva's power was always in her exceedingly flawless technique, rather than performance. Without a perfect athletic form she loses a lot of effectivity.
She's a very good example of the separation of PCS, though her scores rarely reflect that. Very good skating skills, but the performance pales in comparison to many of her fellow skaters. Programs that fall into her natural range of performance skills (like Hijo de la luna) work very well, but others tend to fall a little flat.

She has amazing presentation and performative effectivity, when the music requires speed, clean flow, and a more focused introverted artistry as opposed to something more conventionally emotional, e.g. the neo-classical atmosphere of Ezio Bosso which was her masterpiece. The FS from that same year was also good, although the latter half which was classically romantic paled compared to the experimental former half.

This sort of mainstream vocal music will never work for her, neither will romantic lyrical works. The aristocratic SP from before was also good for her, because her look fits it perfectly, and its also more reserved.

So, Sadkova just objectively blew everyone out of the water. Unfortunately my personal impression was completely annihilated by the music switch. She almost shocked me with a touching program. I knew that dress wasn't lying to me...

I don't know why we have to take two songs and then just smush them together without any care to create a seamless transition. I do like that Dasha gets to do something a bit more fun, though, and there are a lot of cool choreographic moments in there. I hate this dress, I'm sorry.

(Also, I don't know if I said this before, but Daria reminds me most of Kamila of any of the Team Tut girls. There were definitely a few moments here where I felt like I was looking at Kami with lighter hair.)

Had the same Kamila feeling
