This whole event seems to be off. No offense but this just feels off.

It's Lake Placid, it's always cursed. Last time we were here during an Olympic season, we had two shoulder dislocations and a mid-ice withdrawal. There were also flies dying on the ice. There was a bird in the rink today (Jean-Luc named him Kevin), and who can forget the most iconic Lake Placid event of them all, when Andrei Lutoi stole a car from a service station while drunk, drove it around, promptly got arrested, held with $100,000 bail, and was abandoned by the Russian team in jail.
