Oof, a really mixed skate from Karina and Nikita, some moments of brilliance but a lot of messy moments. Personally, I really don't love this program, it's very "Egyptian arms but make it Indian", which is not my favourite. The opening is a lot of crossovers and basic hand-in-hand skating, but they have a gorgeous twist and wonderful throws, and really unique lift entries and exits. That pairs combo spin fall was really costly, and they really needed a strong clean skate to make up for their weaker skating skills and transitional content. They were so lucky to avoid serious injury in that spin - she could've cut his face but managed to avoid dropping her leg.

She was open about having recurring panic attacks after a bad fall . She's very brave to go out there and skate and Nikita is very supportive.
