Chaeyeon KIM was underscore, she was deserving the 3rd place at least, that was a clean performance with emotion and beautiful interpretation of the music. Very mature skating. This was underscore.

Bravo ladies, this was a well skated event for the most part. Let's hope the men keep it up...fingers crossed...

Did you notice that girls go for songs not about separation for the obvious reason that somebody doesn't love someone, but that somebody hurt someone. I can't help it, Hanna's unitard reminds me of a dry bag. It's the color shade and all those black ornaments.

Some great skating tonight, I enjoy the most Rinka, Alysa, Chaeyeon, Lara, Starr and Hana. They were the best in the PCS side for me.

Sometimes, I wish I didn't speak French. Why are all these skaters using the weirdest, darkest and most depressing French songs ?

Be happy we didn't hear today the dramatic wailing of Lara Fabian, the beloved singer of female skaters!

I saw Tenley Albright cheering Alysa in the background again, like at worlds. She is 90. Somebody do a profile on her and her exercise program, please.

If I heard correctly in the kiss & cry, I think Alysa was articulating something along the lines of "it's just skating, but I really love it/care about it/it's important to me, and that's why I was crying at the end of the SP". Of course, there may be other things we have no idea about, but I don't think she was mad about the combo being under or feeling the Olympic pressure, she seems like the type of person based on all of the media stuff I've seen from her who would retire tomorrow if skating no longer meant something to her.

I looked up what she did for a living after her skating career and as a retired general surgeon from a family of surgeons, that might have something to do with how fit she is these days.

Something is off with Alysa Liu season, why as a world champion, that her team didn't do any new program for her this season, she deserve better for an Olympic season.

She had a new program and the artist who sung it was implicated in a murder. So she pulled it.

To my untrained eyes, they looked fine, yet all of her triple jumps received Q calls. Strange.

I'd never seen Lara N Gutmann before and loved her skating style. Looked her up and found out what made her style stand out to me: on her choreography team is Lori Nichol.

Quick summary after rewatching (because i fall asleep at the warmup ):

Alysa:Every single time.Its just masterpiece in every single moment.
She and the music are just one thing.
There is nothing more needed to add.

Chaeyeon:Finally clean,high level and improved version of her in this program.
Still need more emotions on her face,because body and hand movement are on point.Just show some expression on the face.
Expected more points tho,but see some calls for her

Rinka:She is scary this season.Every jump looks so light and easy for her,even that 3A.Im not sure about that Stsq,think it should be even more energetic and also she need some work on face expression tru the program.
1/3 3A done.We will see what happens tomorrow.

Lara: Not bad, not bad.Kinda dissappoitment it is 3T+3T combination,but seems it works for her.
Fun one,but solid.

Anastasia: Not gonna lie she looks sharp and confident this season.Quite a surprise.Completely not a fan of this program,but well it's her style.Spins and stsq need work anyway.

Hana:I don't know.Getting tiresome of her not having a single clean skate.Unique programs,but never clean...

Haien:I know it may sound strange,but isn't she super skinny compared to few weeks and last year? I didn't catch this in COC but here it catch my eye .
Anyway always great to see that energetic and dramatic Siren choreo.Know she can do better and she really need improvements if she want Olympic spot

Wakaba:We can't expect much because of the injury,but it was great start of the program at least and she finish with a smile.
