Neset/Markelov. Like this team. Side eye a coaching group that facilitates teen marriages - in the U.S. no less. (Part of why my family member did not continue in the sport.)

Fabulous costumes. Not an effective music edit - doesn't build and doesn't seem to sound great in the rink.

Their music choices are not showing this team at their best this season. A shame, because they are doing the work as athletes.

I told one of my friends who doesn't watch skating that "Egyptian Techno" is a common theme and they thought I was lying, but I find this wildly entertaining! Fantastic Cairography.

This team are always so entertaining!

Lauriault/Le Gac are like Saulius for me. Very clear POV in terms of their vibe as a team, and thematically coherent programs with distinctive choreo and very specific costume choices. Both teams make competitions way less boring. (Both IAM teams, so they clearly have agency in their programming choices.)

They bring a lot of chemistry and good energy to their programs. I like it. They have their own look.

I have a soft spot for Jennifer and Ben - or apparently Bennifer as they're now called. LOL I really like both their programs this year. For the RD in particular I feel like they at least went for something a bit more out of the box with Yello. It was one of the few RDs I actually was that into yesterday. Their FD suits them, and I think they deliver it well.

With Lauriault / le Gac in particular, I think they do "character/story" driven pieces so well, and "Cleopatra" plays to those strengths.

Wow. My favorite Lim/Quan program is their Umbrellas program, but this one really fights for the number one favorite spot for me. Those lifts are beautiful and they have such incredible chemistry. Wow.
