Horrible program from Piper/Paul. How creatively exhausted do you have to be to make your skater rigidly grab their ass during the lyric of "shake my little toosh", while not shaking it at all.

Hopefully the Shibutani's have good programs. Nobody else seems to want the Bronze medal this season.

Not many stuffies. I think I threw more than this at Texas Trophy.

It's not a big audience - for any discipline - for a GP. Maybe they felt a little stifled.

There aren't words to describe how much I hate the idea of using music created by AI.

Oh I have words but they are definitely not fit for polite society (or any society). And it sounded AI, ruined the whole thing.

To be fair to the dancers, I have gotten the feeling through the juniors and seniors that 90% or more of them are feeling very uninspired by the 90s theme (and the costumes are even more detached from the themes and programs than last year that I whined the whole way through), smiles are more fixed, sequences are more "we.are.having.fun.if.it.kills.us", relief when it's over is less than well hidden. And if nearly everyone dislikes it... then the blame lies with the people who thought it up.

Oh and I do love Piper's costume (as wrong for the music as it is, it is gorgeous and suits her beeeyutifully) but what the hell is Paul wearing? Even sillier than last year...

I actually think the costumes do connect beautifully with the music. The idea behind “Supermodel (You Better Work)”was to channel that Runway Haute Couture energy : confident, luminous, and unapologetically stylish. The white, high-fashion look wasn’t meant to match the lyrics literally, but to capture the aura and attitude of the runway: elegance, empowerment, and pure presence. The song’s bold rhythm and empowering lyrics invite everyone to step into their spotlight : to walk, pose, and shine with unapologetic style.

I think if people looked up RuPaul Supermodel of the World album cover it looks like that is what the costumes are based on. I liked them and this RD will knock it out of the park with with extra attitude and speed once it gains more mileage!
