Oh dear. Can’t believe that Piper and Paul had an issue with their life. It was still stunning though.

Oh, that curve lift! I've never seen them muff that! Won't be a huge score, but will still easily win.

G/P struggled a bit on the lift. I’m not sure I like the program yet.

Piper is a living sunflower. The program had a lovely airy feel and folksy rhythm. A couple of first outing jitters on twizzles and difficulty on one lift - all fixable. The program is a lovely vehicle for them and an upbeat end to this event.

Wow, that lift was scary, they did well to save it. I like the combo lifts but overall it was rough (first pancake). It will get smoother for sure. I liked previous costumes way more.

Love Piper's dress. Lot's of speed. Plenty of room for this to grow. I think it needs something more at "I could have told you Vincent"

Yup, they kept the “turtle” lift, where she’s flat against his back with her arms & legs floating in the breeze. For me that was one of the more memorable pieces of the original choreography.

I was hoping that might be one of the elements that was “updated.”

But I think the Lithuanians were vastly overscored for that dull mess.

Piper and Paul are stunning as usual.

And if Piper and Paul get around to reading this: I love purple things, but blue things are nice too!

Oh wow that lift really cost them. The judging was super strict here. Ice Dance is going to be crazy this year - apart from the French who I think will win everything.

We just scraped through for gold and bronze.

LaLa were the best skaters and Kaitlyn agreed

Piper/Paul have a lovely program Too bad about the (almost aborted) lift, they managed to salvage some points, hope it's enough for them to win... And it is ! Closer than expected but still the winners

The Canadians teams were my favorite here
