Not so long ago, 2 and a half years. She still competed in this Olympic cycle (2023 Worlds). Shame that Kristina Isaev was often hampered by injuries, which eventually led her to retire. For a moment, it looked like she'd be able to take over the mantle from Nicole.

And Olesya, who was looking promising in Juniors, unfortunately, also got injured at the wrong time. (So did a few others who are in her age range, like Julia Grabowsi). Generally, that's the story of the female skaters in Germany, lots of injuries cutting their careers short. (And little being done to prevent that, and here you see the results.)

Davide. Nice outfit and a beautiful program. . Beautiful skate. All greens, except last spin. Still a beautiful skate.

Very clean skate for Davide, Royal of Monaco. The last spin was wonky. I do not think he has enough firepower but we will see.
