I don't know, I also see the argument of fairness in only sending a team that is eligible for the Olympics (or might be eligible in time) towards the other teams, so that actually the best qualify. Worlds is different because they also determine qualifications for next season's Worlds, but this is solely for the Olympics. On the other hand, even just qualifying can increase attention and funding for figure skating in a country, which affects future development.

Great job by Isabela, she was so determined to land everything. And to sell the program even if her partner has never ever looked at her or smiled in their entire career. I hate how in kiss'n'cry he always only talks to his coach and usully in Russian. I'm not going to miss him.

Probably the best I've ever seen them skate. The Salchow was << but almost looked closer to < to the eye without slow motion, so that's great progress
