It has been said ad nauseum throughout the men’s threads in this forum that Jason’s boot equipment issue is not an eligible reason to petition onto the National team for international assignments in the rulebook. Brown also realizes that he does not have the body of work this season to make an argument for himself to petition onto the team. Haters will try and claim that he is undeservingly going to end up on the team anyway; haters gonna hate. What Jason needs now is support and time to decide what his next chapter in this sport will be. He’s been a fantastic and memorable skater and all of the skating community will point to him as the paragon of PCS in this sport.

Kovar needs more speed; a lot of his jumps are scratchy because of lack of speed. His jumps have improved from a few years ago, though.

consensus is Ilia will have one spot. She said the men were fighting for two spots, at least that's what I thought I heard. If Jason petitions for the second spot, then there are really no spots to fight for, in my way of thinking.

it usually works for me but not today, VK is behind, Kai is starting skating now, better than nothing while we wait for the american stream to start

Just found the VK stream and it works!!! It's better than no stream so I won't complain

There are three spots. One spot is locked for Ilia. There are still two more spots, so everyone else is fighting for those two non-Ilia spots.
